WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE? The rugged grandeur of the West Highland Way, Loch Ness monster spotting along the Great Glen Way, the glorious monuments and history of the Borders Abbeys Way, the romance of Rob Roy Way or St Cuthbert's Way - an ancient pilgrim route to Lindisfarne - the Holy Island?

Great Glen Way

Fort William - Inverness
This trail stretches 117km across the Highlands, from the end of West Highland Way at Fort William to Inverness on the Moray Firth. The scenery of Great Glen Way is dramatic, following the natural fault line which divides Scotland's coasts. You'll follow the towpath of the Caledonian Canal and proceed along the shores and forests of Loch Ness. Many walkers choose to combine WHW and GGW with a short rest in the Fort to climb Ben Nevis - the UK's highest mountain.
